New MG4 Shipments

Hi all.

Not sure if there is an existing thread for talking about new shipments coming in, and not sure if we would want to use this as one going forward but I’m seeing some dealers pitch that the late October, early November batch will be coming in on the GRANDE HOUSTON vehicle carrier, which left Shanghai

Fingers crossed it’s got Trophy’s on it ?

My dealer told me yesterday that it'll take most of this week to scan & enter Grande Venus' cargo onto MG's computer system. She docked last Friday morning.

Wow, there must be plenty on there. Let’s hope these are investigated for the reported leak issues.

I imagine it would be hard to check if there is any spillage until it’s had a good drive.

You’d think it would make more sense to scan them when they put them on the boat, so they already know what is coming.

My dealer is expecting MG4s on 21-Oct ... I believe these are the ones that have landed on the Grand Venus, and my Grey SE SR is one of them.

It has got Trophy's on it as my dealer showed me his manifest with VIN numbers and there were 3 orange and a black SE standard range (all sold) on the Houston. There is also the Goodwood due to dock a day later with another black SE standard range with my Holborn blue SE standard range on.

could be we are using the same dealer, he just contacted me as a courtesy to say the trophys they were getting were all orange. very disappointing for me but the orange lovers will be happy bunnies...

The Goodwood docked in Turkey yesterday.

according to someone I know who works at Bristol, the Goodwood will get to Bristol on the 21st, Grande Houston on the 24th

My dealer has also told me that my orange Trophy is on board the Grande Houston, hopefully collection will be mid November ?
If that is the case, then it'll be ready before the dealer has a demonstrator available!

I've cancelled my order with Novuna leasing as the supplying dealer couldn't guarantee delivery.Was supposed to be early November but has shifted. (I'm canceing within 14 days of signing my finance docs)
I have ordered the same car from my local dealer (white SE SR) and it's got the privacy glass .It's in the showroom and I can have it in a couple of weeks .

I think white with privacy glass would look very good!
I was messed about by my dealer, they have no grey Trophy ( first batch and next batch) only able to offer blue or orange which I’m not keen on and white SE LR.
Then I realised they were SE SR when I come to pay deposit, long story short , I swapped their black SE LR showroom car instead with privacy glass.
Picking car next Monday.

Same here but I don't know if that's not such a bad thing. Software fix is allegedly due at the end of this month and I'm not sure they have got to the bottom of the oil leak problem yet.
