iSmart - RHD Car now showing

Who' s noticed that when logging into the iSmart app the car is now showing as a right hand drive where previously it was a LHD.

What's interesting is this is not an app change as the version is the same since we got the charge so they have obviously changed something in the API response maybe from the car which says whether its LHD or RHD. Not sure how that would suddenly change with no updates applied on the car since we got them so it's a bit weird.

Right hand side for me too. Was like this when I picked it up on Friday from the dealer, however after I reset the Infotainment system back to factory settings (did this as a matter of course just so I was configuring from an effective new install), it was back on the left, and then changed back to the right a little while later !!!

I've even cleared the cache but still LHD. Wait.....

...I've just gone into the phones settings, Apps & notifications, MG iSmart and cleared both the cache and storage. Gone back into the app and signed back in and as if by magic I now have a RHD car ?

Probably it has been changed on the Chinese servers to recognise which country the car is registered in.

iPhone, deleted app, reinstalled. I too now have a right hand drive car. My OCD feels better now!

version of app in App Store still shows as 4 months old though. ??‍

Heated seat graphic also correct now

Now it would be interesting if they do the same for the TJA so it takes you near the left line of the lane and not near the middle of the road!

And then update the general limit to 70mph!

Does the drivers side audio tuning with the Akamai? Trophy thingy actually work for Right hand drive now we’re talking about squiffy system driving alignment stuff?

Mine is now right hand drive. (Trophy and iPhone). I cleared the cache in the app and logged out and in again. Deep joy.
