Rinse.
Autoglym Aquawax applied sparingly.
Microfibre towel to dry X 3 passes.
(Includes wiping out all shuts)
Autoglym Tyre Dressing.
Cup Lo T.

Gratuitous Beading Shot.

Good grief- how often do you go through that rig ma role ?
The car certainly looks good but I’ve never in three years almost of ownership of my red MG5 used a mit/sponge or bucket.

I still a Whipper Snapper at a mere 57.

I don't enjoy it as much as I used too.

More of a chore now to be brutally honest.

I do enjoy the sit down and admire my work with a brew at the end though.

What do you do?
Carwash?
Someone must clean it!
I've seen the pictures!

No, all my own effort at ignoring the hard work ? I fall out on it occasionally with a pump up garden spray full of waterless wax cleaner and a giant size microfibre cloth. Spray the bonnet, the roof, the back or a side - give it a few mins to work and polish off. I might do that two or three times a year and foam and power wash every couple of months. The red doesn’t show the dirt much if you stop cleaning the spectacles too often ??

I might be allowed to clean these soon, I might be allowed to fill strange liquids into them
Heck, I might even be permitted to drive them I the winds in the right direction and the paperwork is good ?

You forgot the cuppa while waiting for the snow foam to do its work.

Do you not use a leaf blower anymore?

I don't have one and I need an excuse for my own mind to get this...

Not sure why I've not seen this thread before. Had a skim through and can't see anyone recommending these but I've been using them and they seem fine. I use the spray for getting bird crap and squashed flys off between full washes.

This thread could do with moving to the Xpower sub forum perhaps ? .... seeing as it is an exclusive Xpower colour. It would'nt get lost so easily there as there are plenty of matte green XP owners.

I use a similar product too

I'll ask m8.
To be honest I never noticed.
But to be fair we didn't have an X Power section when I posted this.

Edit: Has now been moved. ?

"Holy Moly and Buggeration Batman"

Lightly scratched the side of the car today on a pokey out bramble, moving in tight for oncoming traffic twas I.

Occupational hazard living where I do.

Anyway, usually with a gloss top coat easy peasy lemon squeezey, a quick polish and your sorted.

Not so straightforward on the Matte finish sadly.

Anyway after much trial and error the solution is this, sqirt a small amount of Tar and Bug remover onto a cotton bud and apply to the scratch.

Scratch be gone.

Sadly of course the scratch is still there, but hidden for now.

Edit: I let it sit for 10 minutes before rubbing it off fiercely, and the scratch has gone.

"Bonus"

For Gods sake do not be tempted to polish with a compound.
You will possibly do irreversible damage which will look even worse.

This is why i would not entertain matt paint myself,, a matt ppf wrap yes though.

That has probably acted as a filler until it is washed next time but fingers crossed.?
