I've seen a few videos over the past week relating to the ES5* SUV - the 2 below quite detailed
At least one of them has touted this as the MG5 replacement based on the MG4
It looks OK but seems more like a ZS replacement than a 5
Be interesting to know if anyone else has seen any press...
Successful update on my 72 plate PFL Exclusive yesterday while in for 2 year service - no additional charge.
Tested this morning and all worked fine though speed seemed to peak at 37kW - maybe because I only left it 5 mins as a test charge but still OK given potential cost savings
I do worry about what long term ownership prospects are when MG is well below par in their support for owners. I am the type that likes to buy a car new or nearly new and run it while ever it is passing an MOT and not costing a fortune in repairs. I really like the car but I can see me only...
Could there be a discussion about MG as a manufacturer and the opinions of both customers and partners (dealers)?
I've seen an article recently where MG is the bottom of the list in a survey of dealers based on their levels of support and speed of resolution of issues (I have personal...
Another dud effort for the free CPS charger at the Burns Heritage Museum in Alloway. No Spanner needed this time thankfully.
Topped up on a podpoint just to make sure nothing wrong with car though
Well, yesterday marked my first year owning the PFL long range. Overall it has been a good year in that I had the full DAB fix done and the car has performed well with good economy.
Apart from trying a Tesla open charger knowing it was unlikely to work, public charging has been fine. Until...
I hope they do update the bulletin - mine is that number too. I would be shocked if it hadn't been compatible given mine is an October 22 car. Waiting until service in October to ask for update and hopefully MG will have finished all the faffing about. Like others, this experience of MG handling...
This topic was once again discussed on the livestream podcast last night with an update from Miles Roberts.
Miles has spoken to his engineering contact at Longbridge who has confirmed the EVCC replacement is only needed for some LR cars and a revised technical bulletin is expected to be issued...
He must be their resident go to guy for snotty responses. I had dealings with him over the DAB fix. My reply to one was 'thanks for what I assume is a copy and paste response from higher up, as I am sure you aren't as arrogant as you come across'. Got a nice humble comeback and got a proper fix...
Thanks - The attached is for the EVCC info and location next to the battery. The label is difficult to see as it is facing towards the battery in a small gap - I got a snake camera in and could see the info attached.
While at your own risk, it is just 2x 8mm bolts holding the mount in place...
