Wanted: Android App to show real time consumption data

I need something more accurate than that. It's a Regularity Rally where we are timed to the second over a predetermined route (stage), all while driving at a predetermined speed. So perhaps the stage is 25km and the speed is 28.5km/h. To avoid penalties you have to drive the full 25km at...

Wanted: Android App to show real time consumption data

Hi, I'm looking for an app which shows a realtime display of the actual consumption/use of energy while driving, like an old fashioned 'economy gauge' . I've tried Car Scanner (the free version) but it doesn't seem to do what I'm looking for. I've got an ODB bluetooth adapter, so it's just an...

FIA Ecorally Cup comes to Scotland

Hi all, I'm sharing this as I thought it might be of interest to you all. The EcoRally Scotland will be a formal round of the Bridgestone FIA EcoRally Cup this year. While the Scottish Motor Racing Club's website (linked below) gives you more details about the event I thought I'd try and...

    Planning a trip to Scotland

I did the NC500 last year, competing in the contender event for the FIA Ecorally Cup. There are a number, but not many, chargers around the NC500 route. Outside of Inverness they are all Chargeplace Scotland chargers and a good few years old. So a CPS card is essential. Inverness, &...

    Android Apps like EV Watchdog

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone knows of any Android Apps like "EV Watchdog"? I think it's really for Kia EVs. It looks like it's got great ability to record, and display, all sorts of useful data about trips and driving. I've got a particular need for being able to track and display exactly how...

    New wheels for my MG?

I'm not sure how well they'll fit, as they are very custom indeed. ? ? An imaginary prize for whoever first identifies which MG they are on.

    The "Coffee Cup" alert.

The little orange coffee cup warning symbol continued to flash and the audible 'bong' continued until my wife googled it and found that it was related to a setting in the MG Pilot. When the Driver Alertness monitor was turned off the coffee cup and audio alert stopped.

    The "Coffee Cup" alert.

No idea! As with all of them, the warning message was gone before I could read it!! The speed these alert messages flash across the drivers display isn't good. By the time I've spotted there's a message to read, it's gone. That's something MG could improve for sure. Even if they gave us a...

    The "Coffee Cup" alert.

Well today I got the "coffee cup" and "bongs" ? . I'd no idea what they were for as (as is normal) the actual text of the alert flashed on and off the drivers display faster than can be read.... As I'd been driving for about 2 1/2 hours I worked out that my MG was nagging me to take a break!!

    Charging on the M6 Southbound

A quick volt'n'bolt at Tesla Todhills. Brilliant chargers, loads of them. I got 130kW charging speed from them. There's also half a dozen Gridserve chargers there too. A Costa Coffee is a short walk from the chargers. It's a decent facility just off the M6 Southbound.

    Charging on the M6 Southbound

Hi all, fresh from the fabulous ecoRally Scotland round and about the NC500, I'm now heading from Perth to Stratford-Upon-Avon and then meandering back via Ulverston and Blyth Bridge. This is the first time I've taken my MG4 on a real trip (other than doing the NC500 last week). Any...

Taking part in the ecoRally Scotland

There was one of the road sections (the links between the side-roads/sections on which we were timed) which we may have been running a bit late owing to stopping to enjoy the views around Durness and I might had to give it some welly..... The crew who came first were from Yorkshire and very...
