Get to know a local MG4 owner and use the VTL feature. My daughter did it to me with her MG ZS EV and it worked a treat.

Cannot remember exact process, but recall reading you cannot connect to more than one device Connected mine to two phones and my tablet so good luck and keep trying More than happy with my MG4 ER

I bought the made up cable for around £20 on ebay and it works fine on my car

Try taking off the 12 volt battery terminals for a minute or so
