At the moment I’ve found using dark mode 100% of the time to be the easiest way around it, but that’s probably because 99% of my driving is before sunrise / after sunset in winter so it doesn’t make much difference.
Will have to see how it fairs in the spring / summer when it’ll be more...
I've taken a leaf out of @tsedge 's book and decided to go constant dark mode. Now after pre-heating it's already in dark mode. It's a little frustrating, and I don't think there's a 'fix' but my garage wouldn't know to apply it if it was written on a piece of paper so I'm just coping with it on...
When I first get in the car, the screen is off. When I push the break pedal to start and 'ready' the car, the infotainment screen comes on and is in light mode.
If I set off driving, it stays in light mode even if the headlights are on. The only way to sort it is turning the auto lights off and...
Hi all,
I couldn't see a recent thread about this and did a search but couldn't find anything related.
While the weather's been cold, I've been activating the heater & seat warmer through the App in the morning about 5-6 minutes before going out to the car. Every time I have activated the...
That's interesting re RC008 as my car was only purchased in May 2023... and then it's been in about 6 times for software updates since...!
SC069 is definitely what it says on the print out under 'Service Campaign Code' - I snapped a photo, I'll attach it on here.
Dropped the car off at the garage this morning, hoping to get the Cruise Control software updated so it increases in 1mph increments instead of 5mph as it does currently. I got a glimpse of the paperwork for the software updates they also had planned for it and these three were listed:
RC008 -...
Sounds just like my car... I had the driver door handle replaced too (button to lock/unlock got jammed and stopped working) and then had to the CCU replaced after numerous software attempts & other bits being replaced.
Fingers crossed it fixes it for you.
I sat in the car with the engineer/mechanic for twenty minutes and showed how intermittent it was. We had two phones and two cables and sometimes worked first time and sometimes disconnected halfway through.
I must add it is a lot better since the software updates have been applied, but is...
I’m in a Trophy LR (not ER) and just got R59 finally sorted at the weekend. Collected the car yesterday and it still increases in 5mph on ACC instead of 1mph. I can’t find any setting to change this?
I can’t be dealing with going back to the garage (until my next faulty part has arrived to be...
Good news! (For once!) the CCU has been replaced and the car successfully charges on the slow chargers. Left overnight at the dealer on Sunday and charged to 100%. Used about 8% through the day and plugged in last night to check ours still worked, and it is back up at 100%.
However, there is...
Looks like it did the trick, you had the one and only trusty USB stick! Software update successful today (apparently) and CCU was changed. Car is on charge at the dealership and currently up at 99%. So glad to see it actually charging! Picking it up in the morning.
Nope, I drove to the garage (for other reasons) and the warning stayed on the whole journey. Warning came on again when they moved the car as I got the alert on my phone through the app. I’ve had 31 alerts over the last 2 days.
I am having the same issues, which only started after the car was in for service in May. I get rear warnings daily, every drive and they are at 2.4-2.5bar when I get the warnings. The fronts are the same pressure and no warnings.
If I still get the warnings when I get the car back from the...
I appreciate the reply and knowing it’s been heard before gives a smidge of reassurance. But I also know the garage have been successful in performing software updates before as they did one last week for @Lango but now mine is failing so it doesn’t feel like it’s the garage at fault.
