This very much accords with my view. I have had my lovely SE SR for just over 2 years and have never even been close to having a range problem. As others have rightly said, you just need to plan. And this is more than made up for by the ease of use and pleasurable driving experience.

It is an interesting question. This is my 3rd new car and the 1st EV. I was initially more careful and a bit more cautious. But after 2 years, I treat it the same as any other car, and just drive it normally, but with a lot more enjoyment.

Yes that is correct. But having spoken to the service guy, he won't be able to do any software updates or registering for the MG breakdown cover. Shame about that because he is quite a bit cheaper.

There is only one relatively local to me - MG North Bristol. There was one in Wickwar (Wilcox) but they are no longer an MG dealer. So I just have to put up with the overpriced service costs.

What is typical is the dealer who you choose to carry out a service telling you that the price is fixed by MG UK, as in the case of MG Bristol North. They told me that MG has withdrawn the low mileage priced service and that they are all the same price. Which looking at these posts is bullshit.
