I bought a new MG3 in April last year. I was told my the service department that any garage could service the car using MG approved products but the service had to be recorded on the MG portal to keep the warranty valid. Any garage has to pay MG to use the portal.
When the heating is on the car won't go into EV mode. I put the heating on for a few minutes to heat the car up and then turn it off leaving the heated seat and steering wheel on then it switches into EV mode.
Yes it was and then they realised they needed to change a seal which then took a few more days. They said they didn't hold the stock because it's a new model and MG have only just found the fault. Sounds like the stock is readily available now.
The car has just came out off the garage after more than five weeks, they changed a valve to do with the cooling system. I don't know the name but it sounds like that might be the one.
I was told the service centre would have to have access to the MG portal which they have to pay for to record the service. I have just booked my 1st service which is £137 about £50 less than I have previously seen. Maybe MG is listening to us and reducing their extortionate charges.
Ditto. I have no manual to refer to so I have got to the point where I just ignore the warning lights until I stop the car and then when I restart they have gone. Even the app does not record them anymore!
