    Yes I've done the same in my last three cars. Thin rubber matting in the door bins, under the central screen, in the cup holders and in the armrest bin, it makes a big difference.

    Same here I just leave it on. Except as Clive says if you need to creep forward or backwards a few inches.

    If it was tested a year ago it would have received a five star rating, but they have moved the goalposts making it alot harder to get the five stars.

    My last two cars have done the same. If you go for a bit of a run the distance remaining goes up because your mpg has gone up. It's only a guide.
