    2025 MGHS Speaker adjustment problem

I have the new one, but you are on a different screen to the one I was looking at. Go to the Home Screen and swipe left, you will lots of other icons. Click on settings and you should find audio settings in there - including the graphic eq and soundstage. Let me know if you can’t and I’ll take...

    2025 MGHS Speaker adjustment problem

It isn’t obvious, is it? I did find it though - on the screen where you select the equalizer, at the both you should find “sound stage”, which (oh so obviously, right?) is where you adjust the balance and fader.

Windows misting in 2025 model HS PHEV

Another update - my local dealer did a marvellous job with the car, updated the software and so on in a very short time. The car was at the dealer for around half a day, and had a proper checkover whilst it was there. I spoke with the master technician when they called to say that the car was...

    Why all the beeping?

The heat from the HS is pretty rapid, and I’ve used that a couple of times, but if I’m in the car when it’s defrosting (as I have been) it’s not convenient to use the app. There are various scenarios where the car is a bit shouty on the outside, and I understand the reasons, I’m just wondering...

Windows misting in 2025 model HS PHEV

I’ll be honest, even though I’m a competent engineer and have restored cars and motorbikes in the past, I’m not sure what the hose will look like, other than trapped! The car is in thee dealers on the 17th, so that’s not too onerous a wait, and if it proves not to be a trapped hose, at least...

    Why all the beeping?

I know that there;s a lot of talk about the beeping inside the new HS when driving - attention monitor, speed change, speed exceeded and so on, but I have a different question to ask. When I leave the car, to pay for petrol for instance, leaving my wife inside the car with my keys, it beeps...

Windows misting in 2025 model HS PHEV

Quick update - I spent some time on Friday talking to a tech at my local dealer and he confirmed that there were some early new model HS's made where one of the machines assembling the cars may have been poorly configured, and a pipe which allows to A/C to drain could have been caught between...

Windows misting in 2025 model HS PHEV

The only way to keep mine clear is to hit the demist button under the screen, but that’s way too noisy to use constantly. I’ve had enough cars with climate control to know that this isn’t normal, and shouldn’t be needed - my brother in law has exactly the same car in black (so we can tell them...

Windows misting in 2025 model HS PHEV

Quick update - I drove to the in-laws and back this week, a journey of a few hundred miles, and I thought this would be a good chance to either dry the interior properly or confirm that there may be a bigger issue. It seems that there’s a bigger issue. If there’s any moisture in the air -...

Windows misting in 2025 model HS PHEV

I’m in normal mode - I haven’t tried any others as yet.

Windows misting in 2025 model HS PHEV

Thanks all - for reference, AC is always on. I shall try setting the temp slightly higher initially, but the misting isn’t always at the start of a journey. I could be 30 minutes in and if it starts to rain, the windows will mist up. My suspicion is that the refrigerant level is low, maybe...

Windows misting in 2025 model HS PHEV

Hello everybody - I am amongst the luckiest boys in the world, for I have a brand new HS PHEV (ok, that may be an exaggeration, but I do really like it!). In 90% of circumstances, it is the perfect car. It carried all the Christmas shopping yesterday, it’s good at long distance runs l, easy to...

New HS PHEV - displaying music on usb and BT

Hi everyone - I’ve had my new PHEV (2025 model) for almost 48 hours and I think I’ve worked out where most things are. Some functions are, shall we say, idiosyncratic in their placement. For example, if I’m listening to the radio and want to change any of the tone settings, I need to select...

New member with an incoming HS

Thank you for the welcome. It was meant to be here at the end of last week, but there appears to be issues with transport of the new car so I'm still waiting. Hopefully I can give a first impressions post soon!

Hello everyone - I'm currently driving a Golf GTE, which I actually really like, but it's just simply too small - not enough room to collect bits and pieces from DIY stores, or hold a reasonable amount of fishing gear, or even transport my wife, daughter and her boyfriend to my in-laws for...
