As I’ve said before we traded our BMW 220 for our MG every service was around £400
So MG servicing is half the cost.
I forgot to mention BMW gave £168 as a new customer towards servicing.
Before we decide on an MG4 we ask if I could have a look at one of our neighbours MG3 on a 63 plate car could find no rust on the body the underside was as a car this age you would expect so we are not too concerned.
Decided to call the dealership one last time turns out the person I was trying to contact was on A L and the sales manager took the call apologies all round ,new parcel shelf fitted all good now . Perhaps I was being a little sceptical I should start to be a little more patient.
We’ve had our MG trophy nearly a week now and are still finding out about the car. Went to get some touch up paint from Halfords 15 mile round trip getting home I noticed a clicking noise from the front . It sounds like a diaphragm type pump maybe for battery cooling? Is this normal?
Pick up brand new Monday 3 of March and still being sent out with this problem. It just spoils what should be a good experience. It's that old problem within the car trade: that will do, I can’t be bothered.
I hope so as other members have said the cars are made to a budget the main area is the plastics. But if you want BMW quality you have to pay BMW prices. Having said that we part exchanged a five year old 220 xdrive BM and that had started to cost us money, so it’s still pot luck.
Have decided to repair the damage my self. I’ve ordered 2 hinge pins for a Vauxhall, I’ll drill a hole in the bracket that’s broken weld the new pin in and hopefully get a result 😎
Hi got our new car Monday morning everything looks great but went in the boot yesterday and found the near side parcel shelf hinge was snapped. Has anyone had similar happen. Will have to ring the dealers again.
Went back to the dealership today they informed me that since January MG no longer provides charging cables and the couldn’t even sell me one as they are out of stock and they would have to order one at a cost of £225+ . So ordered one off Amazon £135 . The car is faultless and so I’ll forget...
So we got our new car today. Great service from Sandicliffs Nottingham but will have to go back tomorrow as they gave us the wrong charging lead as we required the granny lead and there was no compressor in the puncture repair kit. But apart from that the car was faultless what’s more it didn’t...
My neighbour has a BMW and the headlights have a lot of condensation in them told him to remove the access points for changing the bulbs when not I use this allowed air to circulate and dry out the lens it worked. Have a look to see if there is any access points for changing the l.e.ds. If so...
As from Monday 3rd of March we will be MG trophy owners. It would be nice to have a list of the abbreviations so I can understand what you are talking about. Also, and this might be a bit contentious, a list of dealers ranking from good to bad.
