I spoke with the top-rated car stereo installer in my area about adding a subwoofer to my MG, but he refused, citing concerns about aftermarket mods causing errors. Has he not heard of the LC2i or something? ? Love to hear thoughts from experienced audio dudes ?

Invalidate the warranty to the whole car?

Thanks for the heads up, I guess now after hearing about your experience, best to get a car stereo place to install it professionally that way I'd have peace of mind instead of wondering if my inexperienced hands are going to cause a ruckus.
