Mine refused to allow me to overtake a bicycle on a country lane recently. Just threw the anchors on as I pulled out to go past. The sensors are not designed for our overgrown verges. Previous car was a Tiguan which also had over enthusiastic emergency braking which would put the car into a skid!
It’s not as simple as switching off EV mode. Due to various reasons, my car is driven primarily on petrol with regenerated electricity boosting it as and when it chooses. I get the same lag occasionally where it faffs around deciding to switch between EV and petrol mode, which you can’t control...
I have now done around 3500 miles since changing to AMT. Overall my fuel consumption has got slightly worse but when the gearbox is behaving, it is much smoother. However issues with gearbox lag have never gone away at low speeds - it can’t decide 1st or 2nd at give way junctions and over the...
So did AMT mode change and 1500 miles later, whilst the gear changes are smoother and it changes gear at about 31mph rather than 33mph, this lag at low speed is still there.
My 2024 PHEV had a factory reset as well as software update. Radio was left in China time zone and none of the radio stations were available. Dealer not interested. Googled how to reboot the radio so got the stations back (although only to DAB) but none of the other driver settings had been lost...
It is ridiculous to have it installed but not to be able to use the camera for parking however, randomly it does kick into action sometimes when I come up to a junction or am in slow traffic

Can confirm the lag is definitely still there. I have a 6 week old 2024 model and have done just over 3000 miles. For me, the most dangerous part of this is at roundabouts where you approach, can see a gap, try to accelerate forward and nothing happens but you are committed. A couple of near...
