Reported a similar occurrence previously in mine: MG4 Lights cracked in heat In my case the part was changed under warranty.

My issue was sorted out quickly and free of charge by the local dealer.

This is the first time I am reading that an MG4 caught fire. It is very important that the MG representatives report this to SAIC to investigate and ensure any mitigation measures during the servicing of these vehicles. This is scary for all MG4 drivers.

I have noticed a trunk shelf accessory for the MG4 on ebay. Does anyone have found this accessory to be useful?

Is it possible to turn the fan on without switching on the air-conditioning on the MG4?

I get this issue sometimes. It is a bug in the app. When it happens rescan the car again with the app and it would correct itself.

When the app reports that the doors are closed, does it mean that they are just closed or locked? I suspect that it reports closed even if one forgets to lock the car.
