Assuming yours is a pre-facelift version (I assume it may be the same for the facelift) there is no indication of the level of fluid in the reservoir. You find out it's running out when it begins to fail to deliver any fluid to the windscreen!

Not true! I understand your annoyance that you have, apparently, been charged rather more for your recent service than the "official" MG service plan page would suggest but, as has been pointed out, the option to take out one of those plans and have the service done at a dealer of your choice...

@Paul Hampshire You do need to be aware that with the pre-facelift MG5 there is no method to limit the charge to 80% other than manually turning off the charger at the appropriate time! The FL (facelift) version does include that facility, via the iSmart app and the car itself.

Excellent news, since I was/still am in exactly the same situation, including the same charger. (I also suspected the charger was "communicating" with the car far too frequently and so draining the 12v.) BUT, the replacement T-Box for me has, so far, failed completely to code to the car or the...

Ditto for me with an S5.

As someone who is experiencing exactly the same situation (new T-Box fitted but cannot be coded to the car, or vice versa) but with an S5 and a different dealer in a different area of the country, I would wholeheartedly concur with this!

Like everyone else who's replied here, absolutely none at all! Although at the moment I'm driving an MG3 Hybrid+ as a loan car whilst my S5 is having its T-Box replaced (and that's another story!) and I do rather object to the fact I have to buy petrol!!
