    For me, there was no need to clear the cache. Simply opening the app and going to the User Manual tab, it immediately downloaded. But I do agree, those other User Manuals have now disappeared!

    In my experience it is the act of locking the car that causes the charging cable to become locked in at both the car and the charger.

    Got to disagree with this! We're both in our 70s also but I find those route planning apps, especially ZapMap, along with Electroverse and Tesla, invaluable for planning where to stop and charge! And yes, to empty our bladders also!

In addition, I previously posted that my car was plugged in at 10:40 this morning and had almost immediately started charging, which gave some credence to the point made by @dx4100 that the ev.energy app does not control when charging takes place, although it is set to Smart Charge...

    But the percentage to which the car should be charged is/can be set in the iSmart app or the car itself! The ev.energy app doesn't need to know this figure, the car "controls" how much it takes. The ev.energy app controls when it gives. In my previous MG5 PFL (so iSmart app not available)...

    Thanks! That seems to be confirmed by the reading this morning (ambient temperature very close to 0) of 12.3.
