for fast chargers what they really recommend is to charge from when you are down to about 25% to charge up to 80% and drive off as after that takes much much longer to top up further... so your 70% definitely played a role to slow down the charge

Yes! If you service your car annually with MG garage, you get free AA cover (MG assist) for a year. Sometimes you need to remind the dealer to activate it. My rule is - as soon as the warning pops up that the main battery is low (somewhere below 30%) and I'm not 10 min away from home - PANIC...

There are a few threads on this forum, search for "iSmart" and "bind"; you should email MG customer services to say that you want to bind the car, they will want to see your registration papers so have it ready to email them back (or email them a photo in your first email) - in the meantime...

You need to call a few places and ask and book if the price is right.

try couple of different cables first and if not working, take it to MG garage to be fixed under warranty.
