It happens when you leave an OBP adapter plugged in and lock the car - The car detects it as an "external manipulation" and therefore triggers the alarm.
I think the MG4 is very sensitive when it comes to this (which I think is rather a good thing than a bad - I want to know if there is a slight chance of something going wrong). It happened to me twice:
First: Car was parked - so no big deal
Second: I was going 160kmh+ on the Autobahn in a turn...
MG is currently giving everyone ordering an MG4 Urban a 6000€ discount+ if you qualify for the state funding you can get an additional 6000€ on top.
So the urban will cost you only 13000€ new...
When going for the MG4 I would suggest going for a late 2023 onwards. They did sort of a mini facelift with some improvements (you just need to look for the rear wiper and 3rd head rest). The Standart Version in comparison to the "pre-facelift" has heated seats + steering wheel, the rear wiper...
