In summer I am going to update the car myself (just waiting for better weather as I don't have a garage). But I know someone who's car is almost completely updated and he doesn't have that feature.

I just wonder why they don't bring this to all MG4s featuring OPD. Would be such an easy thing..

I would do a check in SIPS to see if everything is really up to date - In Germany we have a lot of dealers that tell you that your MG is completely updated and what not but in reality it's absolutely not. This to me sounds like a software issue - so if you are willing to invest some time into...

Picked up the car today and it's fixed 🥳 - I also have the impression that the heating works better now (less consumption and more consistent). I asked the dealer what this all would have cost me: around 2500 Euros (everything together) but MG pays for everything.

Maybe check the fuse (I think the blower is not connected to the HV system).

Maybe the actor is blocked or broken - I think this falls under comfort features & electronics and therefore should be covert under the first 3 years of warranty.
