I have posted in the wrong place I think - then I found this. Would it be possible to cover Gridserve compatibility with facelift Sept 2022 onward ZS EV. My supplying dealer said keep away from them back when I took delivery. I’ve not had the guts to try them since as don’t want to risk being...
I look forward to the podcast as usual as they are very informative. Could the subject of Gridserve compatibility be covered please . I have 2022 ZS TCLR now with open tesla update. My dealer said back in Sept 2022 to keep away from Gridserve due to bricking issues so never been near a Gridserve...
I have a ZS EV Trophy Connect and can assure there would be no problem doing your proposed mileage. Winter would be about 220-240 on a full charge if you drive at 65 on the motorway. At the moment my guess o meter says 310 but it really means about 260 or so. The MG is good value but do make...
I paid £120 at first service on my ZS TCLR. Held to ransom but wanted 100% assurance that it would work rather than the various iffy info that was around at the time. It works perfectly in UK and EU.
My dealer Thompson of Stroud packed it in. Something to do with MG franchise showroom requirements I was told. Shame as was an excellent dealer. Have heard Howard’s were very good.
Life’s too short. I cannot take the pressure of dealing with useless customer support.
Will get my own back when I choose my next car. Having said that I do like my TCLR.
They play silly buggers with the updates. I was told that updates at first service in July 2023 for my TCLR would not cover Tesla compatibility.. As posted before paid £120 for official guaranteed Tesla compatible update that does work without hassle.
Thanks for anti rattle tape suggestion for the tweeters. On the Mk2 how do I remove the interior lights/sunroof panel for anti rattle treatment. I have trim tools but not sure where to start?
The left and right hand tweaters in the A pillar can often need fitting with anti rattle tape. The overhead interior light cluster can also contribute to the problem. The windscreen wiper plastic panel that makes contact with the glass is another potential cause.
