there was a bug fix for the software not correctly monitoring the 12v battery. I was a victim of this and been fine since.

did you tell the car to charge to 60% or the ohme? If its the ohme then it has no clue what charge is in the mg4, just what its delivered

After the third time back at the dealer they said its a known issue with MG now but no official fix they could apply and be paid for

Actually thats a very good point. The arrogant lady on reception used recall and i said well why wasnt i contacted, she said its the DVLA that does that not us, take it with them. I checked and no logged 'recalls' for my car (lock in recall done).

mine was done after a breakdown in December and they said it had 3 SW recalls outstanding. Nice for someone to contact me about it! the update wasnt specifically for that but it was on the bugfix list for a module update and been fine since

Make sure you had the SW upgrade to fix monitoring of the 12V system. Mine was effected by this and broke down. I was informed that if the battery does not recover i would be liable to pay for the replacement.

I had 3 recall updates applied by the dealer as I broke down losing the 12V. Including the service I asked for all updates to be done but I’m still on R13. I’ll call them back again Monday but I take it if someone was lucky enough to get all updates they still didn’t get the one pedal driving...

Have you been to a jet wash recently? could be they say that could have damaged it with the pressure

Its a shame the dealer wont just work on it. they want to hear from another dealer that fixed the same issue and were paid for the warrenty work. Its a small problem but really anoying as even in the passenger side you can hear the noise over on the right
