Hi Would recommend you take it out of the box and put in the boot if have a place to store it as you never know when you could need it.

I would look at the small garage that used to deal in new car before MG stopped supplying these out let and moved to only larger showrooms. They still allow them to do the service side and are covered then by the AA. The quote would be for the 4th year service.

Before you take it to a repair center can you find a public charger and if it will not work there then it needs looking at. I can not see it working I think your car socket could be faulty.
