New Cyberster Owner - Drive to Switzerland

Yep it just needs to roughly know what battery size and plug. Once connected with OBD you can then compare the range on ABRP with the onboard guessometer

I went with Bip&Go as it also covers Italy, Spain and Portugal.

New Cyberster Owner - Drive to Switzerland

This is the one I bought. There are lots of others but this one works for me. I changes ABRP into a dynamic app. https://amzn.eu/d/2MHH2yI

Do you have a OBD2 scanner ? I find it works great with one.

New Cyberster Owner - Drive to Switzerland

In my view ABRP is a must. Linked to a Bluetooth OBD2 I get real time range, charging locations with stall availability. All add up to less stress as I know where to stop or if I can keep going.

New Cyberster Owner - Drive to Switzerland

Good report. The only main difference I do is plug the ABRP destination into Waze and do the actual navigation in Waze. The inbuilt maps are like using a Nokia phone to connect to the internet.

RFID cards, why do they exist? (and how many do I need)

I also mainly use the Electroverse card however I also have the charge map RFID card a Tesla account and signed up for a few apps in France and Italy. Electroverse turned out cheaper than the Italian ones. On road trips best to have multiple options even if you only end up using the...

    Trophy vs GT

This very well sums up why we went for the GT and why we are touring with it. In comfort mode I do not think it will be any difference in terms of reaching the next charger destination in Europe. Enjoy your choice.

    Advice on Granny chargers

these are 3.5 to 21kw chargers so can do from granny up to the fastest you get without a fast charger. The one I saw at the show was around £200. I have asked if they will be at the show this month or if I can buy a couple for a discount

    Advice on Granny chargers

We got a euro one with a DS3 as it came with both by accident and when we sold it we kept the euro one. I suggest looking at getting a juice boost or similar https://evconnectors.com/product/juice-booster-2-7kw-to-22kw-3phase-mobile-compact-wall-box-cee-set/ but we saw a version as we...

Chiswick MG - MG Dealer Discussion, Opinions & Experiences

They have advised me to move my servicing to another dealer which I am doing. Real shame as I got on with both the sales and service managers

    Advice on Granny chargers

Ours came with a granny charger and we have a euro granny charger as well. That said we virtually never use it as we have found fast chargers and 7kw where we go in Europe.

    Trophy vs GT

I was thinking the same thing. Is there a trophy owner in west London who wants to meet up at ace cafe and drive out to Uxbridge and back ?

    Trophy vs GT

Not had that in our GT, there is autohold I thought. On the GT the Sport and Super Sport turns on the FWD. I can't see what it would do on Trophy. Super Sport also tuns off Automatic Cruise Control. You can turn most of them off permanently in the central console, also turn off the pointless...
