Then why did I have to delete the 2 files mentioned earlier from the map folder to get the update to work ? I tried it 3 times with the map folder untouched an had the checksum error message

Does Android Auto respond to Hello MG? I'll try that next time I use Android Auto 😊

I think they're standard steering wheels . My MG 5 had it ( the voice button),my ZS Trophy has it neither work for the Hello MG function

I suppose it depends on the charger. I used a Gridserve charger at Birmingham airport last year . Supposedly 60Kw best I got was 22Kw in my MG5 . Other chargers were giving me up to 49Kw depending on the season of course. Haven't tried my ZS Trophy on rapid chargers yet 😊

I was going to test mine today but I couldn't find them . As I left the shopping centre I saw them behind me in a local cinema car park receding in the distance 😀. At least I know where they are now

When my MG 5 went in for investigation the dealer gave me one of the many courtesy cars on their forecourt. Depends on the dealer I suppose

I downloaded the file from the MG website . It's Here mapping but, bizarrely , MG isn't one of the Here listed partners on the Here website 🤔

I understand. But it doesn't tell you to delete the two files which is the only way I could get it to work .😊

Thanks for your input I. I tried a number of times to update my maps following their guide . Downloaded a few times and grew a fine beard in meantime 😉.None worked until I deleted those two files you mentioned. Worked a treat 👍. You'd think that MG would advise that ...but then again

Can't remember if I turned it off but it's stayed off . Other cars I've driven it always defaulted to on . I prefer it this way 😊

On your first point ,I can understand that. I just wish there was more feedback in the app so that the owner could understand what's happening in real time ,maybe there's a ISmart manual somewhere?🤔 On you second point, yes it is 😊
