This is exactly the same as every car I've ever driven. Creep is always there. As you say it's just a case of what I call "riding the brakes" to control movement to your liking.
I would say it's more like keeping your foot on the brakes. I'm very cautious with it and always have my foot hovering above the real brake just in case something happens.
Just got an email from the principle engineer that he found the technical notice on their systems (on the day of my visit 3rd march) and has instructed the service team to order the parts. So things are looking up. Next update when it gets done (hopefully!)

I just charged my battery upto 80%, and for around 45 mins afterwards the zappi was showing 0.2kwh usage but the car (via iSmart) was showing as charging but using 0.0kwh. Is this a sign it was balancing?
I agree. I use custom with a similar setup but with normal horsepower. I have been using eco but found it a bit boring 🤣 and I was amazed how light the steering is even in sports mode.
