Multiple power cuts in West Yorkshire this morning so my MG ZS came to the rescue with 3kW max output of Vehicle to Load (V2L) to power the house using off peak energy and safely off grid :)

Every dealer is an independent business so they have every right to charge man hours to perform a software update as per your request as they are not quick to apply (2 hours approx).

Its not a case of who got it free and who paid really as each dealer does things differently. In my opinion if the dealer performs a full annual service on your car and you ask them to check to ensure the latest software is on your car they should install this for free as part of your annual...

Winter MKII MG ZS EV Long Range Battery Heater Test at 1c outside temp (battery temp was also 1c with no earlier charging) activated between 0830am - 9am the HV coolant warmed to 30c drawing a constant 3.6kw over a 30 minute period which allowed the HV battery to warm to 15c from a cold start...

My MGZSEVLRTC NMC battery only takes a short time to balance when compared to my mki zs EV too

How do you know that and where is your evidence the car does what you state ??

This isn’t right Andy?? The battery cells can only start to balance once the battery pack has reached its max 100% charge.

Owned my ZS EV MKII Long Range 2022 Trophy Connect since May22 and not yet updated maps but just found after reading all the posts this is the way to get to the Q1 2023 MG Maps. Go to URL User manuals and enter in your VIN number from the windscreen of your car and hey presto !!!

This car hasn’t got the latest software as there was a bms update late 21 to lower voltage to 449/450v.
