Recently I drove a Seat Ibiza (petrol) and oh what joy after the initial set up and pairing my phone Car Play app connected automatically via bluetooth. No need for cable from phone to car USB C port. Why on earth cant my MG4 Trophy do the same?

I now want my LH steering wheel button for the 360 degree camera but when I try it reverts to energy recovery. What am I doing wrong? Excuse the shaky video. The RH button is not a problem it accepts any change.

Where in the manual does it state charge from <10% to 100% every 3 to 6 months to carry out battery cell equalisation?

Am averaging 3.5 miles per kWh or 17.75 kWh/100km having travelled 5500 miles in 13 months.

I have one query Janner Kebab about how you do your equalisation charge? Personally I find after charging to 100% using Zappi has ended, I still need to use the Granny charger to complete equalisation. It takes about an extra 20 minutes.

I'm beginning to doubt that when charging MG4 Trophy with Zappi to 100% if the battery does actually equaliize at all. Today I charged to 100% by 5.30 am and then later I connected the granny charger which took charge starting at 3kw reducing to 0.4 kw for a further 45 minutes.

unless I am misunderstanding you don't use the Zappi App, instead just try using the IOG App. As long as you have been accepted by Octupus then the schedule should show soon after you have plugged the car into Zappi, that is if you say what % charge you want and by what time.

Thanks so much. I tried my first IOG top up last night when SOC was 31%, set +50% to complete by 05.30. Charging schedule indicated all accepted. Charge started exactly at 11.30 pm but stopped some time after midnight having loaded only 7.23 kWh. Perhaps teething problems my end but I will...

If your iphone setting for the MG iSMART app is set to auto update and you still don't see remaining range in miles, then open the App Store and tap your profile icon in the top-right corner. Then scroll down and tap Update next to the MG iSMART to force the update manually.
