Hi Emili, as you, having forgotten to push the brake pedal I got the green light too. Realising I had not hit the brake I didn't trust this route, so pressed that start button again to off and then went through the correct procedure so all went as normal. Best to do what it says on the tin.

Nice one John. I can't test this box with the closed lid of course but the lid is similar to the way a biscuit tin fits over the tin. This does prompt the thought that one really should use a pouch when parked away from home.

I've always just chucked both sets of the 3's keys into a little old lidded tin box. 'Faraday' - too high tech for MGs!

I agree with Chinook and the others, no loud alarm after switching off here either - sounds like its time to see your nice(?) MG garage folk. Best of luck.

Crazy money isn't it, all that an A service for just 1/2 hours work, some oil and a filter. If only our cars were fitted with a Dowty-type sump washer that wouldn't even need changing. My MG garage couldn't really justify it. Still like the car though...

Thanks for that Jim - do let us know what they come back with. I had noticed the difference but thought just an inch each end wouldn't be noticed by my navigator (wife), who is still working on trying to understand all the infotainment for us!

Is it just me? From the steering wheel's and my driving position I cannot see the Start Button and its dim green light. As a result, having once parked, pressed 'P', knocked off the music and picked up all the bits and pieces, shut the driver's door, emptied the boot, you then press the fob's...

Just (Google?) put in say "MG3 Hybrid+ Windscreen wipers, Ali Express" and that should do it.

When I first got mine I had to get onto our nearby motorway with its new cold engine so took it very easy up to just 60mph and the engine was going some. Had no idea there was even a rev counter (if you can call it that) On later finding and reading the manual and finding the 'rev counter', it...

I reckon in ECO it just gives a softer throttle pedal, so you need to push it further down to get the same acceleration. I guess switching cruise control to bring it up to any pre-set speed would be gentler that in NORMAL/SPORT too. So more economical. Haven't noticed any difference in mpg...

I couldn't find any here in the UK either. As much as I hate having to use them I got all three wipers from Ali Express for just £11.99 delivered! Not fitted yet (just for insurance) but look the same.

Following on from previous post above I have had no troubles with this motor for nearly 1-1/2 years now. BUT now with this NCAP seat type failure something needs to be done urgently. Is MG's 7-year warranty of any use to us at all???

A mandatory recall - I like the sound of that. Anybody clever enough to start up a petition for us '24 MG3s???
