Kinda putting off using the EV in Spain and Portugal. My 4 year old ZS EV, with a maybe a150 mile range would test the system too much.. Might buy a small diesel for the trip, and sell again when home...:(

I had to change my 12v battery after 4 years or so. ZS EV CV70. I suspect the EO Charger might have something to do with it, by leaving the car switched for a long period, The Charger went *its up at the same time. MG dealer charged me £200+ for a replacement...

I always thouht the image quality of the camera was grim. Then I cleaned the lens, it seems to have some sort of coating on it. Once cleaned properly, the IQ is OK. Matches the Aygo I had as a courtesy car...:)

My 4 year old ZS EV, 1st gen, is down to 90% after 38,000 miles. Dealer says to balance the battery using the granny charger?? Latest Gom indicates about a 130 mile range at these winter temperatures, so I guess that's good enough for me. I will have to see what the summer brings..

Wow, some savings. It's Gas central heating that eats up my money, at this time of year. Is Tomato very much cheaper there...?

My ZS EV Gen 1 (Nov 20) is only doing maybe 100+ miles in this cold weather. Recent service says the battery is down to 90% capacity after 39,000 miles. I'll see what summer brings, and maybe upgrade the car. TBH, it does what I want and need, I rarely go on long trips, in the winter...

I would have thought there is also a need for the pedestrian to be observant, and not just blindly walk forward here. But, it is always then car drivers fault certainly where cyclists are concerned...

ZS EV gen 1 handbook, There does seem to be a rain sensor, and it does work. Mind, the wipers are a bit of a law unto themselves... Mj

Yes, re mirrors, I get the same problem. Even on a service, the dealers failed to fix it, but is an intermittent problem. I use WRX Silicone spray between the mirror and body. It helps a lot...

Mine was, until I thoroughly cleaned the lens...try that first...:)

I have the ZS EV gen 1. Great car, I can't compare as I don't have or driven the Gen 2 Range in summer is roughly 150 miles, depending on conditions, as usual. In winter, now, the range is reduced to about 120 miles. Gadget wise, the GPS and Navigation works well, a little slow to boot up, but...

My ZS EV Gen 1 has never even remotely claimed to do 180 miles. 160 might be an optimistic. A minor problem that I try to sort, is that the 5 hours of cheap rate charging with Octopus, just about charges the battery to 100% (7kW times 5 hours= 35kWh). SO if I remember, I charge the car again...
