Build date was July 24 if I remember correctly. If it's software dependent, I would consider getting the latest update. I've found it absolutely faultless with none of the problems people have reported with the older versions.

I was told it wasn't available in green anymore when I spoke to a dealer. Then funnily enough it was absolutely fine when the factory order was put in through the company car scheme.

I think there's some type of timer on the power to the usb. Mine sometimes doesn't reconnect to the adaptor for a while if I just jump out of the car for a few minutes and back in. Quickly pulling the adaptor and plugging back in gets it back immediately.

There's two different R30's. I think if it starts with SWI133 it is the most recent update. Someone else here will definitely know more.
