I paid to have mine done by the delivery garage and was charged for it. When I got home there was no sign of any coating and they wouldn’t respond to calls or emails so I cancelled the credit card payment.

On a dark country road close to a hedge you can see the brake lights come on when you lift off but not sure at what level of slowing this happens.

That is definitely not right, must be a glitch in the system. So much is software controlled, if it happens again try stopping and shutting down and see if it is still not working after restart.

I noticed when the battery is fully charged you hardly get any regen because the battery can’t store the energy. Is it the level of charge affecting the braking?

Apologies, drove my ZS the other day and 1 is the lowest setting with only a small braking effect. I don’t know why anyone would use less than 3 for maximum recharging. When cruise is on I think the brakes are used to slow for hills or spacing to the car in front so no regen.

0 is off (no KERS). Just cycle through to the setting you want but it is a waste of energy to set 0. There is a dedicated switch above the drive selector on the trophy and the setting is displayed on the dash although it is quite small and easy to miss.

Good point but we have lots of hills and the brake is often needed on the steeper ones, and you always need it to stop.

Just one correction, KERS can be set to 0,1,2,or 3 and regen braking happens when you lift off the throttle. On 3 it is strong enough to slow the car almost to a stop. If you use the brake pedal it is lost energy that isn’t recovered. I have a ZS Trophy Long range and the battery discharge...

Hi Oakers, I sent a message when I got my White MG ZS EV Trophy LR but the sheet hasn't been updated. I collected on 30/5/2023 and am very happy with the car. I have solar panels, and can charge during the day as I'm retired. Driving on sunshine? and yes it has the sunroof etc as ordered. PaulIoW

I have looked at the MG UK site and there is no mention of the Sky roof on the Trophy model so I guess it has been discontinued.
