You should be able to use the Bonnet app for Ionity chargers. I used it at Beaconsfield last week and paid 35p per kwh on the app. Made the faster Ionity's cheaper then the Gridserve chargers at the same location.
So this stuff didn't happen?
Claiming in March 2020 that people worried about the coronavirus were “dumb”
Questioning the safety of the COVID-19 vaccines, and baselessly asserting that there were “quite a few negative reactions” to getting a second shot
Likening Canadian prime minister Justin...
Recommend do what Ozzie recommended. I tried using a timer socket from screwfix and although it was rated 13a it got worryingly hot during a test run after about an hour or so.
So its not something I'd feel comfortable leaving overnight and risking burning the house down. It maybe the timer...
I dunno - I think the faster ones are good for future proofing..and quicker charges
As more cars can take advantage the wait time would be the same... e.g cars charging 3x as fast only need to be there for 1/3 the time... so the same number of cars can be served with 6 x 150kwh vs 18 x 50 kwh...
tbh - you could just get an external plug socket on the house an run an extension lead out to the car - it looks like you only have to cross one public paving slab... the lead could then run along the bottom of the curb and loop back.
The gap in the paving looks deep enough to hold a 13A cable...
Its fairly easy to add a charging point to an existing street lamp posts... Wiring already in place and you can then park roadside without trailing cables of the footpath
The Mrs has two knee replacements, so the extra hight of the ZS makes it easier to get in and out off, otherwise I'd have gone for the MG5...but in our case the extra height matters.
Gridserve is usually great... I was at Pease Pottage today on the M23.. I only needed an extra 8-10kw to get...
Personally I prefer google maps for navigation...live traffic updates etc... so I just use zap map to find a charger on route and google maps to navigate to it.
tbh most of my longer trips that have needed chargers have been served fine by motorway service grid serve chargers... So far they...
Hi Les - thanks yes very new only had the ZS for 4 days so far.
I was pretty disappointed overall "Factual Entertainment" TV can be pretty iffy when presenting tech and science subjects, there is a temptation to keep it overly simple and surface. I've liked previous Guy Martin shows and really...
It was properly weak television and really uneven..
I thought the burning the battery scene was really problematic, once you've shown its actually really hard to set a modern batt on fire. Whats the point of testing to destruction? Sure a big fire ball looks impressive and can go on the trails...
