In winter, I hardly use the Eco mode because the heating is so limited that it doesn't have a chance to warm up the car. But it makes sense—that's why it's called ECO.
I searched the manual and the internet in vain to find out what this icon in the battery section of the display represents. Does anyone have an idea what function it stands for? Thanks!
I have eZS and this is good. But it would be better if it was on the car's display:) This is a small change of software MG, so add battery temperature :)
Do you know how to make the MG ZS display the battery temperature? I haven't found this option anywhere. It would be especially useful in winter. I started using the eZS app to display additional information, including the battery temperature. It's there, but I'd like to have it on the tablet...
Recently, for the first time, I made good use of the V2L function when I connected a pump to my MG ZS EV and pumped water from a flooded house in Opava, Czech Republic, where there were severe floods. There's no electricity anywhere in the area, so you can only use your own energy source. Some...
I believe this is solvable. It’s enough to gather the necessary data, or possibly arrange for external services—there are several available—and integrate them into the system. Moreover, it’s purely a software issue, so it can be improved without major modifications to the vehicle. In any case...
I've already charged at a Tesla DC station at around 90kW, but of course, it dropped afterwards. However, at another Tesla charger, it was only 50kW—the truth is, some charging stations share capacity, so it's important to check if there's someone else using the station.
Yesterday, I was informed by the dealer that a software update for the MG ZS EV (I have the latest version) should be released by the end of the year. Can anyone confirm this information? I'm particularly interested because I would appreciate it if MG could improve certain features, such as...
For the MG ZS EV (2023), at what temperature do you start preheating the battery? 10 °C or even earlier when the temperature is slightly higher? Do you deal with 'battery cooling' on hot days, or does the MG (according to what I’ve read) have automatic liquid cooling for the battery? I assume...
The problem is that automation is certainly important, but specifically at VW, there are unions that will be strictly opposed to anything they perceive as leading to layoffs. Reportedly, in Germany, it is quite difficult to lay someone off, especially when active unions are involved.
I'm wondering if the delays in delivering new EV models might be contributing to the issues – for example, the Cyberster is still awaited, and in Europe, there's still no new EV SUV. The ZS EV has been around for practically 3 years, and there's nothing newer, not even a facelift. I'm not...
Interestingly, some Chinese automakers like NIO or BYD are growing, and quite rapidly, but SAIC keeps falling. The article confirms that overall, it went down by about 39%. I'm quite shocked by how VW and GM are doing - they seem to be sinking even faster.
Can you think of any other reasons why...
Yeah, exactly. Similarly, when the internet first started, people claimed we didn’t need it, it was slow, and no one would shop online. Today, they say EVs don't have enough range and that it will never improve. It's just absolute conservatism and the inability to see beyond the next paycheck.
