MG Smart app does not work with 2022 HS

Mine is about a year old and I have had the same issue with mileage dropping to 31 miles now when fully charged. No idea why. Appreciate if someone on here can share if they know the reason.

It needs to be data. Its same as a normal android connection except that it is wireless.

I think he might be referring to auto mode (for which this is true) rather than EV only mode.

I dont think the weather makes a difference to the top speed. I have had no issues going up to 75-80 in EV only mode as long as the battery has charge. It is more efficient to drive on ICE at that speed though from what I know.

Would a connection be possible using wifi or bluetooth if the issue is with a sim connection?

I am also very annoyed about this. The infotainment hardware and software are a big let down for an otherwise decent car. What remedy do we have against MG? Complaints to a Consumer Watchdog? Class action lawsuit?

I do the same and intermittently turn on the demister if unable to open the windows, and then turn if off and switch back to EV. Note that you can also turn the rear window demister on in full EV mode.

I've had the same since the beginning. I took it in for examination and was told it is not unusual. Have had mine for a year now and it's still happening. Don't know why it does this though.
