But don't forget not all are so lucky.
That is such a tragic shame. But fear not, there’s not one of us I’m sure who wouldn’t swap with you just so you can enjoy a bit of snow. No don’t mention it - that’s just how we all are here, frozen but happy to help where we canI’m definitely not having a white Christmas this year! Currently sitting on the terrace of a little villa in Vilamoura, Portugal. It’s T shirt and shorts weather![]()
What? 16°C is perfect - you can always double up on the T-shirtYou're tougher than me. I don't call 16 deg T shirt weather...
Why aye man16C is T-shirt and shorts weather. In Newcastle anything above -5C is tops off weather.![]()
Nah they clash with my long johnsShorts all year round, no problem.
Don't be Nesh!![]()
That's an image to keep the children away from the fire. Long johns, fluffy slippers and a fleece lined kilt![]()

We had a high of 19 degrees here in Portugal yesterday, and hoping for similar today. You're tougher than me. I don't call 16 deg T shirt weather...
I thought about an omelette yesterday but only had two eggs left. I needed to put the bread machine on overnight. So the eggs went in with milk, spices and loads of sultanas. Nice loaf and fruity as a nut cake.We had a high of 19 degrees here in Portugal yesterday, and hoping for similar today.
Off to find a big supermarket, and hopefully something vegetarian for my Christmas dinner tomorrow, otherwise it’s going to be a mushroom omelette.
Used to go there to visit my Mother at Christmas. My wife named the ladies on the Quayside as "Santa Sluts". Not derogatory, just descriptive!16°C is T-shirt and shorts weather. In Newcastle anything above -5°C is tops off weather.![]()
