No sound from sat nav

Vehicle Alerts shouldn't be the one needed ... I turn that down to minimum to quieten down the indicators.

As said above, when you believe the voice should be speaking tap up on the right joystick/Volume + button and this should increase the volume of the Voice Alerts (which is a different setting, but not obviously available via the volume settings/controls).

My sat nav has stopped talking to me, the mute/unmute is set correctly - can anyone help ?
This has happened to us a couple of times. It does resolve, but only after switching out of the app and restarting it it.
Adjusting the volume makes a little but not workable difference.

Yep, alert volume will fix it. I turned mine down to quite the indicators, little did I know it also reduces the volume of the sat nav and all other alerts.

My problem was the other way around. The young car salesman thinking that since I was a bit mature my hearing would be no so good set the Alert Volume way to high.
It took a week to telling the nice young lady in Waze to "Shut up" before I worked out how to adjust the volume.
Now we play nice together.

All I know is that Vehicle Alerts (which also governs indicator volume) and Voice Guidance volumes are separate controls in my SE SR, but only Vehicle Alerts is visible in the Volume menu. Altering the volume whilst Voice Guidance is running (e.g. turn directions in GMaps/Waze/AmiGO via Android Auto) changes the Voice Guidance volume. 🤷‍♂️
