Headlight connector

Hi. Has anyone experienced the headlight connector melting. I've replaced the connector but now finding the highbeam won't work. Is there any other connections that I need to check.

Not come across this before.
If the connection were not fully made, I imagine it could arc and overheat. Have you ever replaced the lamps?
I think the high beam operates via a shutter mechanism which must be on a separate connection.

Thanks for that. That would make sense if high beam is on a shutter mechanism.
Was struggling to work out hi and lo beam off just 2 connections

How did you change the connector is. It a big job or easy? Did the bumper and headlight need to come out? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It will be an awkward job, even changing a bulb can involve a lot of finger yoga because there's very little space.
