Making practical use of my Christmas present

So I made an unsupervised purchase for myself and bought a 3D scanner to scan objects to either reproduce on my 3D printer, or make accessories for them. This is the scanner

I decided to see if I could put it to practical use, so went about designing a wall mounting bracket for my tyre inflator. Here's a scan of the front foot of the tyre inflator

I imported the 3D scan into CAD and used it to design a wall bracket for the foot to slip into.

Thank you. My background is engineering and IT, but YouTube has proved very helpful in both learning how to 3D print, design stuff in CAD, and now the basics of using a 3D scanner. 3D Printers and scanners are getting very cheap, reliable, and easy to use now.
 
I've been tempted for a while, but having a play with Free Cad, convinced me that the learning curve is too steep for this old brain.

FreeCAD I just don't get. Personally I use Fusion360 and found that quite easy to get to grips with. However, if you want to learn, start with TinkerCAD. It's free, and runs in a browser. Plus it has loads of easy to follow tutorials. It's used a lot in schools.
 
That is brilliant, I'm really impressed. However, I've got a battery tyre inflator, and I keep it in the car as it's often been useful to top up at work or top up another person's car. What we really need is a good strong charger nozzle holder for your house charger!

There are many charger "nozzle" holders already available to download and print for free. Just need to make sure a suitable filament like PETG, ABS is chosen to make sure it'll stand up to the elements for a reasonable amount of time.
