I leave mine on all the time as set above and only adjust the temperature as required.
You don't have the demist vent selected?View attachment 33771

This I did not know. Thanks. No - the car seems to prioritise the windscreen vents anyway when on Auto.![]()
I select it when I first get in the car and the screen is misted up but after it clears I find it's not needed. You don't have the demist vent selected?
I think you're talking different things ... @Ian Key do you mean you press the Demist button below the Infotainment screen if the screens are misty? (I think @tsedge was talking about the windscreen vent icon ... to the right of the airflow [recirc] icon).I select it when I first get in the car and the screen is misted up but after it clears I find it's not needed.
You're right. OK I find I don't have to select either the button below the screen or the virtual button on the screen once it's demisted
I'd be very, very wary of using acetone anywhere on the inside of a car. Far too easy for it to drip/spill somewhere it shouldn't....
Also, I cleaned all windows with Acetone and I rubbed with paper.
Pay attention for that.
Never put acetone on plastic because it burn it or change color.
