?Yep. It is in the setting of the A/C window. It will heat up for about 15 minutes.

That being the case convinces me that MG could add this as an option in the app.from recollection there is a setting (maybe?), as to whether the rear engages on pressing the front defrost?
That isn't strange. The app directly activates a single device/service. The car on the other hand links to a setting in the software that combines two devices/services.Strange thing is, if you leave the window demisters (and HVAC) active when you power down the car, if you activate HVAC via that app they don't come back on, though when you power up the car they do come back on ??![]()
Thanks for checking.Leaving the lights in manual does not stop the lights coming on when pre-heating the cabin.
… change your settings either in the aircon on the central display or switch off the central cabin vents? Or just switch on the window booster manually for about a minuteSo they made the app even worse than a year ago?? Last winter the defrost button used to be always on when toggled remotely by the iSmart app. Now as it's getting colder every day (close to 0 degrees celsius), I noticed it never sets defrost on, only A/C. Also it seems to blow air into the cabin, not towards the windows!
Please tell me the defrost is dependent on outside temperature and it will toggle on when it gets below zero....
But will the defrost switch on when it gets really cold? I need to be prepared if it no longer works. Last winter at least 10 minutes of defrost was required to melt the rock-hard ice. I'm not going back to scraping windows and will start looking for alternatives if they made the app winter unfriendly.… change your settings either in the aircon on the central display or switch off the central cabin vents?
