Can't pre-warm the car anymore

Went to heat my car this morning and got a message telling me to make sure the car was in Park. Obviously it was!

And did the scan of the car in the app showed it was not in P, and what was the car physically?

The scan showed as locked, couldn't find where it shows as being in Park or not. The car is on my drive at the side of the house.

Pre-warming the car has always worked previously.

This has been happening to mine on and off since I got my MG4 Trophy in 2022. Other errors present sometimes but the bottom line is I often can't preheat the car when needed. The car indicators flash so Comms to car ok but it somehow fails. Signing out/in, clearing cache and reinstalling app sometimes works but not always. Unlocking and locking same. Extremely irritating.

Thanks, found out where Clear Cache is (weird place) and that cured it

It's sad how flaky SAIC's software is - you would have thought with the volume of cars they make they would have got better by now.
