I have never changed tyres in pairs & I'm still here.

One exception is last April I did fit two new tyres on the camper but only as I knew they were out of time and I was expecting to do over 4k in Europe and didn't want to pi$$ about over there if one let go.

There is almost unanimous agreement that the KUOMO fitted to the MG3 are not perfect.

In the event of a hypothetical puncture of a tyre on an axle, the first thing to do is to check whether a repair is possible (don't be impressed by the tyre salesman, who will say 9 times out of 10 that it's not possible and that they have to be changed).

Then, take the opportunity to put other quality tyres on your MG3, such as GOODYEAR or CONTINENTAL, because you'll gain a lot, even if at the outset it's obviously more expensive to change at least 2 tyres.

Finally, I suspect that MG has pre-purchased the stock of KUOMO tyres of this size from the manufacturer in order to drastically reduce the overall purchase cost for all its vehicles.

I tend to drive enthusiastically on some of the local back roads and for my money the tyres are no worse than others, no understeer and I can go round roundabouts with as much gusto as I feel like doing so lord knows what the rest of you are doing to find fault with them.

Am I the only one with Giti Comfort 2 on ?
See my previous post.
I have to say I've never heard of the brand Giti. Sounds like another example of MG/SAIC buying a job lot cos they were going cheap.
I'm sure there are many budget car manufacturers doing exactly the same as MG. For example what kind of tyres do you get on a Dacia?!?! However as I said in my previous comment, MG are trying to become a mainstream car maker, slotting presumably in to the space that the likes of Ford occupied.
This will bring them into contact with customers who are used to something 'better' when it comes to customer service.
