Found this interesting video on YouTube, Cyberster starts at timestamp 1:20 ish and it suggests the battery temperature may have the biggest impact on track performance.

On paper even the XPower is faster than the Spectre. EV's have completely changed the power to price dynamic of the ICE car World. Manufacturers (and car reviewers) still have not worked out how to cope with this.

What is the point of such comparisons anyway? Do I want a racing car for racing or a nice car for the road? Do I need this acceleration when I drive to work in rush hour traffic in the morning? Or do I even want to drift through the city?

Yes, we want sporty cars, we also want a bit more power under the bonnet because it's fun to accelerate better, but it should no longer be the main yardstick by which vehicles are compared.

A little more realistic testing that has to do with driving on public roads would be desirable. But fewer and fewer people are able to do that these days.

The mature driver isn't bothered by who wins or gets the advantage. Not worth the risks associated with racing around.
