First your cable needs to be charge & data, some are only charge. Second look on YouTube at wireless dongles, we both have MG4 models & both use wireless, we got ours off Ali express. Hope this helps ?

Hi. I have the same problem re connecting to android auto. My mg3 has been in the garage for 11 days for them to sort out the problem. I collected the car yesterday and was told problem fixed. Yes Apple play now works and an S22 seems to work on android auto but neither my S20 nor my S24 work. In fact the S24 makes no connection whatsoever whereas the S20 connects and then drops out. I've spent a fortune on good quality data cables.

In addition before the car went into the garage I also tried 2 different wireless devices, neither of which worked. I'm at a loss to know what to do now as the garage say it must be my phones. I've tried friends' phones and most of those make connection but then drop out. Samsung have been on my phone to check settings and confirm all is in order. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks
