Right not 100% but I tried rear wiper to clean but nothing but front ok might be worth looking intoCould be a long shot, but there have been a number of reports on this forum of weird electrical behaviour as a result of water leaks to the driver footwell from the rear screenwash pipe located in the offside A-pillar affecting various electronic boxes. The joint can leak if the pipe freezes
One such report said that the MG5 would not turn off.......
If the rear screenwash is not working but the front one is that could be an indicator of the pipe coming adrift.Right not 100% but I tried rear wiper to clean but nothing but front ok might be worth looking into![]()
Would this cause these problems though ?If the rear screenwash is not working but the front one is that could be an indicator of the pipe coming adrift.

Definitely sounds like the washer pipe has become disconnected. First thing is to get that fixed and get rid of any water. As you'll see from the posts linked above, this has happened a lotAlso when this morning b4 this I tried using the rear washer no fluid but strange sound from near the speaker on drivers side
