New MG3 Hybrid+ with left steering wheel
Under Vehicle->MG Pilot there is a "Lane Departure Assist" section. At first I tried turning it off, or setting the "Mode" to something less strict. Yet, after turning the car off and on again, the "Lane Departure Assist" reverts to on, with Mode=ELK (I believe it stands for Emergency Lane Keeping). I already got an answer that it does so for safety reasons. Let it be.
In this mode, according to the explanation, it should track the lanes, and alert + attempt to resist lane drifting, when no signal is given. However, it does so in high speed even when not drifting left/right, when a car passes me on the left.
Is this a normal behavior? Can it be somehow permanently disabled?
