I received a notice from my DNO saying they needed to unloop my supply over a month ago. Since then I have struggled to get in touch with them.

Just after a bit of advice on what I should be looking for and the best way to hurry them along?

My main concern, is despite everything post the main fuse is brand new (Full renovation + rewire 2021) the building itself is 1800's and still has a 60amp fuse.
Bearing in mind we try to keep all of our usage to the cheap hours 00:30-5:30. As I regularly get home close to midnight, this means heating (12kw) Car (7kw) Oven (2.5kw) Hob (7.2kw) could all be running. Never mind if my partner or I wanted a shower, wash some clothes, run the dishwasher or any other activity.

I find my DNO (Nationalgrid) easy enough to contact by telephone.

Same here I found then very helpful (Western power and distribution) when I had to have my main fuse upgraded from 60amp to 80 amp nevertheless the guy upgraded it to 100amp.

It was quite a long-drawn-out affair de-looping our power supply & upgrading from 60A to 100A.
Getting in touch with north-west DNO wasn't a problem but getting the job done took from early November & finished at the end of February the next year.
The guys said they're so busy doing these upgrade jobs that they don't have the man power to get through the waiting list.

Scores of thousands of old 100 year old housing stock where I live that have looped supplies & 60A fuses.

They made a bit of a mess digging down to the original supply cable but all turned out well.

Took a good 16 months and it’s really simple for me as we have overhead supplies (quite funny as neighbor actually works on underground for western power well NG.

They kept closing the case after the initial look - basically they didn’t really want to do it but Inhad storage heaters put in so the load is even more so chased it up. There was a letter addressed to me which was sent to the installer when they did the application. I kept emailing the person who sent that from National grid who then passed it to the local team. Keep on at them.
