So hands up, who has the highest mileage (or kilometre) MG3 Hybrid? How high is high? Any issues arising, advice, etc? What does your fuel use look like, ie is it the claimed 4.3L per 100kms, or whatever number is used for MPG?

In answer to your question, only covered 1000 mls to date, or 1610 km. So very moderate use to date with no problems. My head goes into meltdown as soon as the subject of MPG comes up, due to the somewhat confusing habit of trying to combine imperial measures with metric. Over here in the UK we use miles per gallon, but have to buy our fuel by the litre. How silly is that? If it wasn't for the handy readouts on the dashboard, I wouldn't have the first idea what my consumption is. In USA MPG would be differnt again as their gallon is different to ours! You might as well be talking Chinese to me as soon as I start hearing about litres, or in your case 43 millilitres per kilometre? Is there such a word as kilometreage? Is it kilometre or kilometer, as used in American English? Do we talk miles per litre, or km per gallon? Same thing with our tyres. Wheel size in inches, width & aspect in millimetres (or is it millimeters). Oh dear! It's Sunday morning here and my brain is already frazzled. My attitude? Drive it, put your favourite music on. Enjoy and don't worry about it! Happy Christmas to all.

Only covered 6000km, so not high mileage. Averaging 45 mpg at the moment, was getting around 55 to 60 in the warmer weather. No major issues, touch wood. One of the poppers that hold the parcel shelf hopped out, that's all. I've started using a wireless adapter for android auto connection, as the wired solution was hit and miss. Advice, would be that driving this hybrid is a different style to driving a purely Ice car. If you let the regen do thw work for you, look ahead and anticipate, you'll get a smooth drive. If you are impatient with it, you will get a less satisfactory drive.

Just broke 5000 miles today as I finished off some Christmas shopping. I have a similar opinion to most, mpg was better in July than it is now. Averaging 40 ish mpg which is a little disheartening to be honest. No issues with the car though still madly in love. Would buy it again today.

"Kilométrage" refers to the number of kilometres travelled.

I'm just coming out of the running-in period (1,500 km) and my fuel consumption since buying my MG3 has been 4.7 litres per cent km

I'm sorry I don't use your system of measurement, which contributes to the charm of your British nation in particular.

As this is all in my second language, I just like being neighbourly and adapt to suit the locals. ;)

Only 3k miles so far, best mpg showing was 58, but since it got colder it has dropped to 48 not impressed with this at all, the Fiesta never dropped below 55 winter or summer.

Average speed never seems to go above 17mph.

Hi, i have also only covered just over 1000 miles and so far so good managed to fit a petrol can in boot by mod the tool kit area and used wasted void under the rear end. Happy Xmas to all fellow Hybrids and our moderators, Eagle 5

Don't forget the that the crappy petrol we pay extotionate amounts for doesn't store very well for very long.

My remaing milage stopped displaying at 48 miles last week, WTF is that all about, the only info I can rely on in this car is the speedo, and I'm unsure where it gets the info from, gearbox or GPS?

I do admit that irritates me as well. Kind of forces you to fill up even though you know you’ve got 50 miles still

First time it happened we were having a day up in the lake district only had the car a week or two, plenty of fuel, or so we thought, but then we hit a road closure due to a road accident, no signal for the maps on Google so no idea where the nearest petrol station was, a very stressful hours or so until we found a way out of the grid lock, less than impressed, seems a pointless way of doing things.

Bought my car late December 2024, few days before Christmas! Gotten 3000 kilometers on it, with 5.1L per 100km. So not too bad but I'm still figuring out how to keep it mainly in EV instead of HEV.

17k miles. I was achieving 64-74 mpg but since the cold weather started on November it has dropped to 50-56 with the AC heater on.

I keep records of petrol consumption so the following are for 2450 miles since September - mainly around the house type use. 8.7L per 100k. Certainly a drop in economy in the cold weather. For UK, it works out at 52.25mpg

I'm a very gentle driver and I always put it into Eco butI can't near that MPG we're in the high 40s most of the time, it was in the mid 50s when we got it.

I am just starting to get 60+ mpg around town since I changed to Eco mode and regen 3 but to get anywhere near that on long motorway type journeys I need to use Normal and Regen 2

I saw on an MG4 post (I think) that they have an Auto regen option, presumably so you don't have to manually change it to get an optimum setting, but I don't think they thought it was useful
