Was the dealer an MG dealer because they are the only ones who can update the software?
An MG dealer may charge for any updates which are 'optional' that is not the subject of a recall.
No it's from a private garage. I'm curious why half my functions do not even work? For example my back rear sensor does not even work and my auto hold does not work too? The auto hold is activated on the dash but it still doesn't hold when I hit the breaks and the back sensor doesn't even beep when I'm close to something. Do you know why? :(

You have towing mode enabled perhaps?

If you haven't done so, go through all the settings to check they are as you want. This should also find if towing mode is enabled.

It's off :(
May I also ask is there a way to save all the settings on the car? For example I set to eco and stay eco forever and not have to go through the settings each time I go in car. Thanks again

Some settings will be retained but very few. Unfortunately not the driving mode.
When checking your settings, make sure you first put the car in READY mode by pressing the brake pedal.
Also, for future posts, when asking for help on these matters, it always helps to have a photo of your settings and a photo of your dashboard. Because it makes it much easier to spot issues and provide assistance.

You could set up custom mode how you want it, then select custom every time you get in the car. Doesn't cover everything of course.

If auto hold is turned on then once you've stopped press the brake pedal a bit more and this will activate Autohold. The A symbol will turn green to confirm.
Can you explain to me how to deactivate auto hold please? I've got the MG ZS hybrid+, I don't see any physical button with the circled A. Thanks

This is the MG4 board so we can't give any categoric answers re. the ZS Hybrid+ ... however I'd imagine the functionality is the same. The option to enable the auto-hold feature will be a toggle in one of the menus on the Infotainment screen; to activate it simply give the brake pedal a firm press when you come to a stop. Pressing the brake pedal again will release it, as will pressing the accelerator pedal.
