Google translate detects Polish and offers the following translation.

I bought a damaged MG4 car. It will not charge the 12V battery and will not charge the main battery from a single phase charger. Is the inverter damaged? When connected, it rejects and shows that the battery is disconnected. I haven't tested it on DC.

@MarekD, the language of this forum is English. Please either write in English, or else write in your native language in another programme, copy that text into Google translate for an English translation, then paste that translation into your forum post.

Any further posts in a non-English language with no translation will be deleted.

Marek, I think members will be asking for a lot more information about your problem, so you better fire up Google translate.

The main traction battery disconnects when the car is involved in a crash serious enough to set the airbags off.

But the car moves normally. It only shows the lack of charger, when I plug in the charger. But I also have a dented CCU case and I suspect it is damaged. But does it also matter that it doesn't charge the 12V battery?

after connecting the charger, it will show this message . writes that there is no charger

The static home charger shows something but doesn't play anything else. photo.
my question is whether or why it doesn't also charge the 12v battery.
if the ccu is damaged, it does not charge the 12v battery.
where to look for the cause? errors cleared. and it doesn't show any error either
I have no way to check DC charging yet??

That is a big hit, was the car insured and the person who hit you insured? To get through the rear bumper crush zone and actually buckle the floor, lots of things will no longer be right with the body and the electronics .... if it was in Australia, that would be classed as a statutory write off, rego cancelled and parts value only

You can see where it has closed the rear door gap, so that whole rear quarter panel has been pushed forward, I suspect buckling in the chassis rail in that area as well.
In the first photo in the first post, you can see a number of wiring looms that show damage and the charge port is also on that side, so possibly the cables are damaged. You can also see the inverter mounting points are no longer there, a piece of broken plastic can be seen under the right hand rear bolt.
There is a lot of damage there, were you in the vehicle when the accident happened? Or have you bought the vehicle cheap after the accident?

Check all the cables that connect to the vehicle body to ensure there is a good connection from the negative wires to the vehicle chassis. The next thing to check is an earth leakage, has one of the cables rubbed through to the body somewhere .... be very careful, you are playing with deadly voltages, both AC and DC, be sure you know what you are doing or you could end up dead .....

Marek, you will probably find this thread from a member who also bought a crash-damaged MG4 and repaired it, of interest to you.

Hi Marek,
We also bought a damaged MG off the auction. Damaged in the same place. I saw your post and was hoping that you could tell us what did you do with your car at the end. I speak Polish so we can arrange a chat.
Thanks so much!
Kasia
