Brand new MG4 Trophy LR picked up Wednesday afternoon, only 2 mile drive home, no issues. Went for a drive in the evening, the Vehicle Control System Fault error appeared.
Found this forum and went back to the car and it had cleared, went for another drive and it returned, and didn't clear again.
Rang the dealer the next morning and took it back. They replaced a part (don't know which one) but the fault stayed, and Friday they said they were still waiting for MG to get back to them as to what to do next.
I'm going to speak to the sales manager about potentially rejecting the car if it's not working in the next few days as this seems to be a fault that can be difficult to diagnose.
And obviously, brand new vehicle shouldn't be faulty immediately.
Doesn't fill me with confidence that the garage don't know what to do either ...
